Brad Marchand:
PF Chang's is probably my favorite restaurant

Brad Marchand: Haven't had the chance to take in too much of the local flavor yet, haven't had much time.

Little shocked Brad that your favorite resturant  is a Chinease Resturant in BOSTON? Also Andy Savage asked him a funny question as well.

DENNIS WIDEMAN????

Okay someones gotta say it and it might as well be me, Dennis Wideman SUCKS this year. This guy has 2 points yeah 2 POINTS. He had 50 points last year and 13 goals. This year a goal and an assist, and a -3 rating. COME ON. You wanna know one reason why our powerplay sucks, watch Wideman so far this year. It might just be me but I feel like im watching Wideman on the PP and he will make the pass that somehow comes out of the zone or the puck hops his stick. Im calling you out Dennis Wideman, now im not saying its all Wideman cause it certaintly isnt but he has been a poor player so far. I hope that he can prove me wrong though, because we really need him to step up his game. When hes at the top of his game he can score goals and help make plays. So Dennis LETS GO!!! I know you can do better buddy.

Bruins Ink Rask To Extension

BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed goaltender Tuukka Rask to a two-year contract extension through the 2011-12 season.

The 22-year-old Rask has appeared in nine NHL games in his career  - all with the Bruins - and has registered a 5-2-2 record, 2.43 Goals Against Average, .917 save percentage and two shutouts. He has played in four games this year for the Bruins and has posted a 2-1-1 record, 2.41 GAA and .920 save percentage. He is coming off a 2-0 shutout win of the Edmonton Oilers in his last start on October 31.

Rask made his NHL debut for the Bruins on November 20, 2007 against the Toronto Maple Leafs and recorded his first NHL victory in that game. He spent the majority of the last two seasons in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins where he had a 60-33-6 record and five shutouts in 102 appearances. He opened the season on an NHL roster for the first time in his career this year.

The 6’2’’, 171-pound native of Savolinna, Finland played two seasons in the Finnish Elite League before coming to North America in 2007 and he has represented Team Finland in three World Junior Championships.

Rask was acquired by the Bruins from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for Andrew Raycroft on June 24, 2006. He was originally drafted by Toronto in the first round (21st overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

I think this was a great move by the Bruins for the future of the organization. As of now Rask is a very good young goaltender and could be a number one goalie for a few teams, and will be a great goalie in the NHL. He will probably be the backup to Thomas next year as well, but after that year we might be seeing Rask as the starter, as Thomas gets older and Rask continues to improve. Not that playing behind Thomas is a bad thing now, Julien likes to use the number goalie more then most teams. We are 16 games into the season now and Rask has made 5 starts so far not bad, and he has shown he has what it takes to be a great goaltender. Im sure the Leafs are wishing they kept him around now.
